Let yourself be enchanted by the Ariel lamp by Fabas Luce , a creation that challenges staticity and transforms lighting into a dynamic experience. Imagine a sphere of borosilicate glass, blown with mastery, that captures the light and diffuses it with soft elegance. The metal structure becomes almost invisible, leaving the stage to the true protagonist: the play of light and shadow that is created inside the diffuser, where a drop finds space.

The shape of these lamps recalls the old candle holders with handles, commonly called in Italian "bugia", a simplified name of the African city Bidgiaya which supplied most of the wax used to make candles! This anecdote today also accompanies the "modern" Bugia: a table or wall lamp with single or double light, as simple as it is ingenious.

Simple and elegant in its traditional appearance, it surprises by revealing the movement of the diffuser. This can be tilted to direct the light for reading.

A luminous sculpture which, once lit, highlights the delicate chiaroscuro effects created by the "folds" of the diffuser. The design of the lampshade (2006) is signed by Luta Bettonica and Mario Melocchi , a tribute to the original project by Franco Bettonica who in 1965 was inspired by origami to create a ceramic vase with an eccentric shape.
