Eclisse is a cutting-edge balance between form and function, design and utility. The basis of the concept lies in its functionality of regulating the intensity of the light through its internal rotating lampshade that "eclipses" the light source. In fact, with a fixed external casing and a movable internal casing, the lamp can provide direct or diffused light.

Bon Ton is a collection of table lamps inspired by pendant earrings. Feminine ornament and refined accessory, the earring is an object which, through the combination of different volumes and materials, lends itself to being declined in different compositions. Within this design scenario, simple shapes and different materials are superimposed to design lamps intended as suspended pieces of jewellery. The elementary volumes superimposed along the cable create micro-architectures in the shape of pendants. The composition closes at the end with a butterfly curl in natural brass, a clear allusion to the design reference.

A cylindrical base welcomes the source, hiding it and supports the blown glass diffuser. Base in steel, body in extruded aluminum, diffuser in opal blown glass with crystal shading.

The diffuser is handmade in double-layered artistic glass, obtained with the artisan technique of blowing in a still mold and the consequent grinding, recalling in the final result the ancient Murano technique of wrought glass.

The shape of these lamps recalls the old candle holders with handles, commonly called in Italian "bugia", a simplified name of the African city Bidgiaya which supplied most of the wax used to make candles! This anecdote today also accompanies the "modern" Bugia: a table or wall lamp with single or double light, as simple as it is ingenious.
