Bouquet combines classicism, elegance and originality with multifaceted uses. Protagonist on the night table or in the corner of a living space, Bouquet gives a soft light suitable for reading and relaxation. A luminous sculpture which, once lit, highlights the delicate chiaroscuro effects created by the "folds" of the diffuser. The design of the lampshade (2006) is signed by Luta Bettonica and Mario Melocchi , a tribute to the original project by Franco Bettonica who in 1965 was inspired by origami to create a ceramic vase with an eccentric shape.

The elementary geometry of the spherical diffuser makes it an iconic product and helps the uniform diffusion of light through the acid-etched blown glass.

The diffuser is handmade in double-layered artistic glass, obtained with the artisan technique of blowing in a still mold and the consequent grinding, recalling in the final result the ancient Murano technique of wrought glass.

The edge of the diffuser in heat-treated transparent crystal characterizes the elementary shape revealing a special mastery in the craftsmanship of the glass. Internal structure in steel, lamp body in blown opal glass with hand-applied crystal glass wire.

The shape of these lamps recalls the old candle holders with handles, commonly called in Italian "bugia", a simplified name of the African city Bidgiaya which supplied most of the wax used to make candles! This anecdote today also accompanies the "modern" Bugia: a table or wall lamp with single or double light, as simple as it is ingenious.
