Castore combines the spherical blown glass diffuser with a luminous structure that softly joins it, characterizing its elementary geometry.

A circle of light and a metal rod. Thin, light and movable up to 320 degrees, they dance with each other in ever-changing configurations. The solid T-shaped base acts as a counterweight. The rod is tangent to the circle, in acrobatic or static poses. An invitation to interact with light in an empathic relationship.

A cylindrical base welcomes the source, hiding it and supports the blown glass diffuser. Base in steel, body in extruded aluminum, diffuser in opal blown glass with crystal shading.

The structure of the two arms is made with an extruded aluminium. The movement is balanced by the elastic cord, covered in colored synthetic fabric. The base of the table and floor lamps is in aluminum with cast iron ballast. The adjustable head, molded in plastic material, is comfortably gripped using the central hole. The touch switch controls an LED source.

Mechanical intelligence and patented optical innovation allow the flat diffuser to direct its comfortable light with maximum freedom and minimum footprint of the base, ensuring correct illumination both on extended worktops and on smaller surfaces. Base in steel and aluminum, stem in steel, reflector in technopolymer and aluminum.

The diffuser is handmade in double-layered artistic glass, obtained with the artisan technique of blowing in a still mold and the consequent grinding, recalling in the final result the ancient Murano technique of wrought glass.
