The structure of Mirta is composed of a series of thin and curved blades , harmoniously arranged to create an oval and enveloping shape. This particular design not only gives the lamp an elegant and light appearance, but also allows the light to filter delicately through the slits, creating a suggestive luminous effect.

These blades surround an internal diffuser in opal acrylic , which guarantees uniform distribution of light. The combination of these two elements creates an enveloping lighting, which filters between the blades and projects delicate plays of light into the surrounding environment.

The diffuser is handmade in double-layered artistic glass, obtained with the artisan technique of blowing in a still mold and the consequent grinding, recalling in the final result the ancient Murano technique of wrought glass.
