Dynamic Led wall / ceiling lamp

In Gravitino 541 the sphere that houses the LED source is connected to the base via a magnet. The magnetic attachment allows total freedom of movement of the light source, which can slide in any direction and rotate 360°. The light source is set back for better visual comfort.

The structure is made up of two extruded aluminum elements: an external one in the shape of a ring and an internal one which allows the symmetrical diffusion of light upwards and downwards. Inspired by the idea of a handle fixed to the wall, Frame offers a high luminous performance.

Discovery , awarded with the Compasso d'Oro 2018 , is a totally absent and dematerialized element that acquires volume when switched on thanks to the light injected by the LEDs placed in the frame and extracted from the central surface. Applique that recalls art deco forms by combining a metal sheet with a protruding semi-dome, Enoki lives as a single object or combined with other similar elements, even with different orientations.

The sinuous and light ribbon geometry of the body hides the source and reflects the light emitted mainly upwards also downwards, opening the emission into the environment.

The shape of these lamps recalls the old candle holders with handles, commonly called in Italian "bugia", a simplified name of the African city Bidgiaya which supplied most of the wax used to make candles! This anecdote today also accompanies the "modern" Bugia: a table or wall lamp with single or double light, as simple as it is ingenious.

The shape of the luminous module is that of Typha Latifolia, the botanical name of the beautiful aquatic plant in the shape of an ear. Each natural brass stem blossoms into an LED light encased in tubular glass. Depending on the effect to be obtained and the space to be decorated, it is possible to choose between suspensions with one, three or six lights, wall lamps or floor lamps.
